Principal’s Message

Dear PSMS 20 Community,

January brings a brand-new year but the same message from PSMS 20.“We are a dedicated community committed to establishing a nurturing learning environment that leverages data to meet the individualized academic and social needs of all students.”As a greater community we will stay on our path of Continuous Improvement striving to be better today than we wereyesterday.

This month brings the end of Marking Period 2. A reminder to all 8th grade students and families that passing all four core subjects (ELA, SS, SCI, and Math) is required in order to graduate on time. The end of Marking Period 2 will also be used to inform us of the progress that students have made or have not made yet. Parents, this is vital for you to know so that you can plan with teachers and our great staff on what your child needs.

All students were given the opportunity to receive LTE/WIFI-Enabled chrome books so they can access our multiple digital learning platforms. Such platforms include: IXL, NEWSELA, i-Ready, MeandMine. These sites can help your students reach grade level and increase proficiency from your house. To log on students need their email address and password. If youneed help please contact the school.
